Yamandú Canosa. La casa empática
In The Empathetic House, the paintings, drawings, photographs and mural interventions of Yamandú Canosa are arranged in a "landscape-territory"; a "total landscape" inclusive and empathetic. Concepts such as territory, frontier, miscegenation, belonging, instability and difference are expanded from the poetic of his sharp, critical and essential look. In this landscape of the world, the horizon articulates the iconographies of the four walls of the room: the South Wall, the East Wall, the North Wall and the West Wall, which locate the I Giardini map in the Uruguay Pavilion. From the global, to the empathic house is entered by the South. An intervention on the façade, a starry sky installed on the ceiling of the pavilion -and reflected on the floor- completes this total landscape. The horizon proposed by Canosa is our common link and exemplifies the beauty of our equality and our difference. The empathic house is the house of the broken borders.

En La casa empática, las pinturas, los dibujos, las fotografías y las intervenciones murales de Yamandú Canosa se ordenan en un “territorio-paisaje”; un "paisaje total" inclusivo y empático. Conceptos como territorio, frontera, mestizaje, pertenencia, inestabilidad y diferencia se expanden a partir de la poética de su mirada aguda, critica e imprescindible. En este paisaje del mundo, el horizonte articula las iconografías de los cuatro muros de la sala: el Muro sur, Muro este, Muro norte y Muro oeste, que sitúan en el mapa de I Giardini al Pabellón de Uruguay. Desde lo global, a La casa empática se entra por el Sur. Una intervención en la fachada, un cielo estrellado instalado en el techo del pabellón -y que se refleja en el suelo- completa este paisaje total. El horizonte que propone Canosa es nuestro nexo común y ejemplifica la belleza de nuestra igualdad y de nuestra diferencia. La casa empática es la casa de las fronteras rotas.
