CURATOR
The house, the place, have become subjects of longing and their identity imaginary is in full reformulation. Years ago I began to work on a series of works on the construction of the place, that complex and mestizo emotional space that the experience of a migrant constantly makes and remakes. Issues such as migration and belonging have been central throughout history, but today they are often issues of dramatic relevance in the day-to-day lives of contemporary societies.

La casa, el lugar, se han convertido en sujetos de anhelo y su imaginario identitario está en plena reformulación. Hace años empecé a trabajar en una serie de obras sobre la construcción del lugar, ese espacio emocional complejo y mestizo que la experiencia de un migrante hace y rehace constantemente. Temas tales como migración y pertenencia han sido centrales a lo largo de la historia, pero hoy son a menudo temas de dramática actualidad en el día a día de las sociedades contemporáneas.
